NEW from YSL - Yves Saint Laurent Vinyl Cream Lip Stains Swatches & Review

As an avid beauty YouTube follower, I recently came across a Korean Beauty Creator - Bambigirl 밤비걸's video on the new YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stains. (https://youtu.be/TqZNh2yZVAY) Her videos are in Korean, but she has subtitles, so feel free to check her out!

As soon as I watched her video, I spent hours looking at swatches and reviews (there aren't many out yet).  Today, I hurried to my nearest Nordstrom to swatch and test the beautiful new products myself. 

Here are the swatches of the entire YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stain collection besides the shade 401 "Rouge Vinyle," which my nearest Nordstrom did not carry.  

402 "Rouge Remix" - Mixture of rose and dark pink

403 "Rose Happening"  - Rosey pink 

404 "Nude Pulse" - Nudy peach 

405 "Explicit Pink" - Barbie pink (swatches lighter on lips)

406 "Orange Electro" - Straight up orange!

407 "Carmin Session" - A darker version of MLBB (this shade is currently backordered)

408 "Corail Neo-Pop" - Coral with a hint of orange

409 "Burgundy Vibes" - Burgundy, the name says it all (swatches vampy on lips)

410 "Fuchsia Live" - Less fuchsia, more reddish pink

411 "Rhythm Red" - Reddish orange (leaves strong orange tint)

412 "Rose Mix" - A bit darker rosey pink (similar to 403, but a bit darker)

Now, here are the swatches of the YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stains after I have tried to remove them using a make-up remover spray & cotton pads.

I have to admit that I did wipe pretty lightly, however the pigmentation/stain is amazing.  Look at the stain it left on my arm!

Though I wanted all of them in my possession, the shade I ended up purchasing (I can't afford eleven $36 lip stains) is 411 "Rhythm Red" which suits my pale, warm-to-neutral complexion wonderfully.

 

As you might have noticed, the packaging has changed to an all black, sleek packaging (in replacement of the gold lid).  I personally think the new all black packaging looks more chic!

Along with the new packaging, the scent has changed as well.  If you are familiar with the Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains, you might have enjoyed the sweet peachy scent.  

These new Vinyl Cream Lip Stains have more of a raspberry/cherry candy scent. I personally prefer the peachy scent, but the raspberry/cherry candy scent doesn't bother me.

The texture doesn't seem to have changed much - however, they are a bit less glossy compared to the glossy stains.

얼마전 YouTube 뷰티 크리에이터, 밤비걸님 께서 입생로랑 가을 신상에 대해 리뷰비디오를 올렸는데요~ 전 그 비디오를 보자마자 바로 그 다음날 Nordstorm 백화점에 가서 직접 보고, 느끼고ㅋㅋ, 발라보고 왔답니다.

이번 입생로랑에서 나온 틴트는 "비닐 크림 립 스테인" 이라는 이름으로 나왔는데요, 총 12색상이 출시되었어요.

제가 갔던 Nordstrom에는 401호를 제외한 402호부터 412호까지 있었구요 (위에 있는 발색샷 참고하세요~) 한국엔 아직 출시되지 않았지만 벌써부터 난리라는 407호는 보시다 시피 너무 갈색빛이 많이 돌아 전 별로였답니다... (그래도 발라봤지만 왠 할매가..........)

전 11가지 색상중 제 피부색에 제일 잘맞는 쨍한 레드오렌지 411호를 구매했어요.

이번 신상이 여태 출시되었던 다른 입생로랑 틴트보다 완전 좋다, 최고다!! 이런건 아니지만, 확실한건 지속력 하나는 더 좋아진거 같아요.

그리고 입생로랑 립스틱, 틴트 특유의 복숭아향이 없어지고 체리향으로 바뀌었어요!  전 개인적으로 복숭아향을 선호하지만, 체리향도 그닥 나쁘진 않은거 같아요.
